About Me
Keeping Employees Productive

Last year, I realized that a few of our employees did not have the best intentions when they came to work. It seemed like their goal was to slack off and avoid work, and it was really frustrating. I realized that I had to do something in order to make things right, so I started working with them to train them. I also installed a camera system and explained the consequences of their actions. Within about six months, we were able to completely overhaul things, and it made a huge difference. This blog is all about keeping employees productive and on track, so that you can keep your company viable.

Unique Attractions And Cool Features For Your Event That Are Worth Splurging On

Grace Hanson

If you are planning an upcoming party or event, spend a little more on something that guests will remember and talk about. This might be found with some unique entertainment or with a special drink that you serve. Think outside the box a bit when planning your party to find something that will stand out and make your event a bit different.

Some attractions and features that you will want to splurge on for your special event include:

Belly dancers. Bring some life and culture to your event with an authentic belly dancer! She will get your guests up and on their feet, while lending an exotic air to the festivities. Consult with talent agencies and businesses like Vanessa Bellydancer Miami about hiring talent for your function.

Cigar rolling. Depending on your crowd, a cigar-rolling station is something that will attract aficionados and enthusiasts to your event. Have your cigar expert roll guests a cigar and serve brandy or port for dipping.

A mixologist. There is a difference between a mixologist and a bartender; a mixologist creates new recipes and signature drinks, while a bartender typically prepares and serves them. Hire a mixologist for your party and ask them to create a signature drink that embodies the mood and purpose of your event.

A photographer. Hire a professional photographer to capture all of the moments and candid shots from your party, which you can give to friends and guests later on as a memento of the occasion.  If a professional photographer is out of your budget, consider the cost-effective alternative of renting a photo booth for your event. These are often found from party rental businesses in most regions.

Gaming station. Set up something that kids of all ages will enjoy—a virtual reality or gaming station! If you are planning on having children or teens at your event, this is a great way to entertain them during down-time. If your party is geared toward adults, watch them revert back to childhood when they see their favorite video games or retro systems.

A bounce house. Get your guests up for a little exercise with an adult-sized bounce house. These are typically the same as a child's bounce house that you frequently see for parties, yet they withstand much higher weight and may skip things like slides or whimsical features. Rental companies will often set up and dismantle these attractions, included in the cost of renting.

Consider these suggestions when planning your party and looking for something different to offer your guests. Talk with party rental businesses about various items to make your event perfect—from the décor to the entertainment!
