About Me
Keeping Employees Productive

Last year, I realized that a few of our employees did not have the best intentions when they came to work. It seemed like their goal was to slack off and avoid work, and it was really frustrating. I realized that I had to do something in order to make things right, so I started working with them to train them. I also installed a camera system and explained the consequences of their actions. Within about six months, we were able to completely overhaul things, and it made a huge difference. This blog is all about keeping employees productive and on track, so that you can keep your company viable.

How To Save Moving Boxes For Your Next Move

Grace Hanson

There are plenty of reasons you might want to save moving boxes from your current move for the next move that you need to make. If you know that your current living situation is not permanent, consider saving those moving boxes so that you can use them yet again the next time you need to get moving. This can save you a significant amount of money. However, you will need to keep those moving boxes in good condition, otherwise, it would be unwise to use them again to protect your belongings. Here are some tips to consider for saving your moving boxes:

Do Not Reuse: Don't use the boxes for any kind of storage in your new home. Instead, keep them stored away in a safe place, such as the garage or large hall closet. Be sure that whereever they are stored, there is nothing placed on top of them, which can damage and weaken them making them not suitable to use as moving boxes in the future. You should break them down, which makes them easier to store, plus it prevents them from easily breaking under pressure just in case anything does fall on them. Don't continue using them to store items because the weight of items that are inside of the box will weaken the bottom of the boxes, as well.

Don't Rip the Tape Off: When you open the boxes, do not rip the tape off, which will only take off some of the cardboard material with it, making the boxes weak and useless for your next move. This can even prevent them from being able to easily tape up again in the future. Instead, use a box cutting knife to make a smooth and even cut in the tape that will not affect the box whatsoever. You should also not rip off sticker labels for the same reason. In fact, avoid using sticker labels for this reason.

Label the Boxes in Bold Words:  When labeling the boxes, yu should label them boldly so that they are easy to read. Then you can use the boxes for the same purpose in the future. This will even help your next move be more organized quickly. Plus, if you need additional boxes, you are less likely to buy more than what you need because you will already know what you need based off of what has already been labeled and packed.
